So, what are the parts of papaya? The parts of papaya are papaya leaves, papaya seeds, papaya fruits, papaya roots, papaya flower and papaya trunk.

Hmm lets take a short talk. Basically I'm writing this article to inform. I don't know if there is someone who will try to search for parts of papaya but definite I will try to have a survey if someone in the world will come to read this simple article.

The Parts of Papaya

1. Papaya Leaves

The papaya leaves is a part of papaya in which it helps the tree to produce its food. Through the leaves the papaya tree grows well. The sunlight coming from the sun is being convert to food through the process of photosynthesis.

The papaya has a big leaves going upward. It has around 7 to 9 pointed edge each leaves for fully matured leaves. Each pointed edge has a length around 12 to 25 inches long. So we can say that the size of the leaves would be around 36 to 48 inches from point to point.

When the leaves becomes dry it change its color to brown and decay after few weeks on the ground.

2. Papaya Seeds

The papaya seeds is where the papaya begins to grow. The seeds are inside the fruit in which it turns to black when it is ripe.

The seeds of papaya are small just like the size of chicken eyes. The color of the seeds are white when not ripe and color black when the fruit is already ripe.

When the papaya seeds are color black there is a liquid form surrounds it. When you try put it on your hand and examine you will see the liquid form on it.

3. Papaya Fruits

The papaya fruit is a part of papaya in which it comes from flower and form into a fruit. The papaya can bear more fruits at a time. It continues to bear more fruits when it has a height around eight to 10 feet.

From that height the papaya trees continues to add its height and continues to bear more papaya. As if you observe a tree you can see a lot of fruits on it.

The fruits are color green when not ripe. This has a green to dark green color and continues to grow until it start to ripe. The papaya will turn to yellow to orange when it is totally ripe.

There are many varities of papaya which grow tall and also drawft. And the average papaya weight is around one pound or 0.5 kilo to eight pounds or 3.6 kilos.

4. Papaya Roots

The papaya roots is a part of papaya in which it sends nutrients and water throughout the other parts of papaya. The roots is the main entry point where all minerals coming from the soil is being transported to every parts of the plant.

One single papaya tree has many small and long size roots. In can grow around one to two meters. The roots support the whole plant to not fall. Because of the roots the plant can stand on the ground.

5. Papaya Flower

The papaya flower is part of papaya in which it is where the fruits came from. When the tree start to have flowers those flowers will turn to fruits.

When you see a flower it looks color yellow green and has a pointed edge. This is small and can weight around 0.1 pounds.

The texture of the flower is smooth. This has also a fine smell and open in a few weeks of time.

6. Papaya Trunk

The papaya trunk is a part of papaya in which it support all othet parts of papaya such as leaves, flower, and fruits.

The trunk is the biggest part of papaya. Through the papaya the water from the ground cab be transport to the leaves, flower and from the roots.

The trunk is big but it has a smooth skin. It is smooth tree in which you can remove its cover, unlike to other trees like mango or avocado which is really hard wood.

Usually the trunk of papaya is only one and it don't grow bigger size branches. It can grow little branches but not as big as its trunk.
